In July, the Center for Digital Government (CDG) and the National Association of Counties (NACo) announced the winners of the 15th annual Digital Counties Survey. The survey, conducted by CDG in partnership with NACo, identifies the best technology practices among U.S. counties, including initiatives that streamline delivery of government services, encourage collaboration and shared services, enhance cybersecurity and even reduce carbon emissions.

San Mateo County won the 6th place award among all counties in the country with a population size between 500,000-999,000. See the full press release and announcement here: http://www.govtech.com/dc/digital-counties/Digital-Counties-Survey-2017-Winners-Announced.html.
